Subarna completed her BS and MS in Microbiology from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. Her dissertation project is to determine the mechanisms used by Yersinia pestis to overcome calprotectin-mediated nutritional immunity. Outside of the lab, she is fascinated by music and likes to travel.
