Interested in how bacteria evade the innate immune system? Come join our team studying the original plague! We have an opening for a postdoc in the following areas:

  • Mechanisms used by bacterial pathogens to overcome zinc-mediated nutritional immunity

  • Role of inflammatory lipids and extracellular vesicles during the innate immune response to infection

  • Bacterial manipulation of leukocytes to evade immune recognition and clearance

  • Targeting bacterial metal acquisition systems to develop new vaccines and therapeutics
