Khushi Completed the SURF Program in the Lawrenz Lab

Khushi completed UofL’s MD/PhD Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF), a 10-week program for undergrads interested in pursuing an MD/PhD degree. Under the mentorship of Lawrenz Lab postdoc Kaitlyn Whitefoot-Keliin, Khushi investigated how Y. pestis interacts with dHL-60 cells.

Congrats on your first-ever poster presentation, Khushi! And we’re so glad you have decided to continue working in the lab for the rest of the year.
